OUR PASTOR

Rev. Alan-Michael Carter

Reverend Alan-Michael Carter is a native of Baltimore, MD, and the son of Michael Carter and Kristen Allen. Reverend Carter has proudly served as the Pastor of Grace Baptist Church since October 2025. Prior to God’s calling to Grace Baptist Church, he served in ministry at Shiloh Christian Community Church. 

Through the ministry of Shiloh Christian Community Church, where Rev. Jimmy C. Baldwin Sr. is Pastor, he gave his life to Christ at the age of 9. Rev. Carter answered the call to the preaching ministry at 15 and preached his first sermon at 17. He has served in various capacities, including Youth Minister, Director of Ministries, and Executive Pastor. Rev. Carter was ordained into the Gospel Ministry through the United Council of Christian Community Churches of Maryland and Vicinity and the Baptist faith. 

Reverend Carter has earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Morgan State University and a Master of Divinity Degree from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.

Reverend Carter is also a licensed Maryland and Pennsylvania Realtor at VYBE Realty. He holds additional certifications as Accredited Buyers’ Representative and Seniors Real Estate Specialist. He has been recognized as a 2022 Rising Star and 2023 30 under 30 Top Producer in the industry.

Reverend Carter believes his life reflects God's goodness and strives to glorify God through his life's calling, portraying the love of God. God has called Rev. Carter to preach, teach, and lead God’s people to love and serve God. 

Reverend Carter is the husband of his high school sweetheart, Sydney, and the father of two girls, Aria and Alex.
